He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Leotus and Amy Sarah Carter; his son Harold Keith Carter; and his sister Sylvia Moore. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jim Carter; his son Kenneth Lee Carter of Stone Mountain; his daughter-in-law Elaine Carter of Woodstock; his brothers, Anthony Carter (Vernelle) of Forsyth and Pete Carter (Becki) of Zatella, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Eric Palmer Carter, Adam Keith Carter and Sarah Elizabeth Carter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
