She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thompson and Sue Middlebrooks Thompson; her husband George Lee Vessell; her son George Lee Vessell Jr.; and her pet Butterbean.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Brauer; her grandsons, Zachary Thomas Brauer and Scott Joseph Brauer; and her pet Jax.
