She was predeceased by: her daughter Rhonda Ware; her sister Cheryl McGinnis; and her nephew Jay Gladney. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Bubba" Whatley; her son Thomas "Mark" Ware (Dana); her grandchildren, Natalie Carter (Denver) and Clayton Ware; her great grandchildren, Robert "Reid" Carter and Amelia Carter (Millie); her brother Joel Gladney (Tess); and her sibling's children, Mitch McGinnis (Jawan), Tava Stewart and Valarie Melton (Tyler).
