He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack Davis and Eli Davis. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Davis; his children, Jay Davis (Felicity) and Paula Novelle Davis; his stepdaughters, Sherry Clemons (Jim) and Kristie Hart (Keith); his grandchildren, Oasis Nichols (Jordan), Christopher Carter (Elizabeth), Victoria Hart, Caitlin Nunis (Jeremy Torbush), Serah Dixon (Jeremiah), Eli Clemons and Grace Hart; and his great grandchildren, Carter Nunis, Jagger Torbush and Jacob Nichols. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
