It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Penelope V. Elder (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on July 7, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Wilburn Vaughn and Irene Elizabeth House Vaughn; her granddaughter Heather Elder; and her sister Deborah "Debbie" Cole. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Elder; her sons, Carl "Trea" Jackson (Jamaica), Jody Elder (DeeDee) and Kenneth Elder (Donna); and her brother Lewis Vaughn of Chickamauga, GA. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Penelope "Penny" V. Elder.
