He is survived by: his spouse Melissa Rogers; his daughter Tekeila Brown (Stacy); his brothers, Winston Carter (Shirley) of LaGrange, GA, Lawrence Carter (Gwendolyn) of Lanett, AL and Gregory Carter (Linda) of Union City, GA; his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Carter of East Point, GA and Barbara Kirtley of Detroit, MI; his aunts, Mary Rather of LaGrange, GA and Catherine Laye of Atlanta, GA; and his close friends, Horace Fulton, Gary Phillips, Truman Estes and Melissa Pittman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
