William Ashmore Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ashmore of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Ashmore to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weems Ashmore and Clara Inez Upchurch Ashmore; and his former wife Patricia Irene Ashmore. He is survived by: his wife Janice Fuller Ashmore; his daughters, Amy Jones (Whit) of Dayton, TN, Robin Cole (Gregg) of Pine Mountain, GA, Carol Gilreath (Mark) of Hamilton, GA, Jerri Ashmore of Carrollton, GA and Dana Jennings of Columbia, Maryland; his siblings, George V. Ashmore and Betty Zane Stroud of Macon, GA; his grandchildren, Will Jones (Juliet), Mary Clare Geyman (Isaac), Sam Jones (Katey), Cliff Jones, Mallory Daniel (Ryan), Garrett Cole (Savannah), Katie Gilreath, Tanner Gilreath, Romella Ashmore, Roger Ashmore and Rio Ashmore (Mariah); and his close friend Randall Cotton (Dianne). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
