He is survived by: his wife Bertha; his nephew Perry Broughton Jr.; his children, Sonya Demetrius Dean, William Anthony Dean (Kela), Bobby McCoy Dean (Trina) and Cornelius Darrell Dean; his siblings, Bettye Patterson, Catherine Robinson, Mary Broughton and Jimmy Dean (Janice); his aunts, Emma, Boyd, Annell Lindsey, Grace Huzzie and Mary Dean; his nephew Roderick Dean; and also Mary Sheppard. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
