He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe A. Kelly and Jeanette Kelly Morris; his son-in-law Joseph Tillman, Sr.; his stepfather William Morris; and his parents-in-law, Ed and Esta McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Kelly of Lakeland, Georgia; his children, Carole Kadet (Brian) of Tampa, Pam Tillman of Hahira and Reada Hamm (Jody) of Lakeland, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Juliana Powell, Kelsey Tillman, Kaleb Tillman (Tabatha), Jacob Hamm and Emerson Tillman; and his sister Barbara Jane Baker (Dan) of Pell City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeland Methodist Church (80 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Cook Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (250 L Cook Dr, Pell City, AL 35128).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lakeland Methodist Church or the Lanier County Fire Department.
