It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty McElhannon Hale (Lawrenceville, Georgia), who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Guy and Mary "Lemma" Daniel McElhannon of Dacula, GA; her daughter-in-law Deborah Lynn Hale of Between, GA; her siblings, James Mell McElhannon of Albert Guy and Mary McElhannon Dalton (William T. Dalton) of Dacula, GA; and her brothers-in-law, William "Mahlon" Burson Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA, George Mitchell of Dacula, GA, Robert Malcom Hale (Charlene Dee Weaver) and James "Jimmy" Thomas Hale of Monroe, GA..
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Michael Hale of Between, GA, Joan Hale McMillian (Morris Barrett McMillian) of Dacula, GA and Albert Griffin "Griff" Hale of Dacula, GA; her sisters, Mavis McElhannon Burson of Lawrenceville, GA and Carnethy McElhannon Mitchell; her sister-in-law Mary "Adeline" Malcolm Hale; her grandchild Zackry Morris McMillian (Alicia McMillian); her son Barrett McMillian of Cumming, GA; her granddaughter Amanda McMillian Edmondson (Nathan Allen Edmondson); and her great grandchildren, Charlie Morris Edmondson, Claire Elizabeth Edmondson of Dahlonega, GA and Dr. Ralph Griffin "Rusty" Hale III (Tabitha Robbins) of Gainesville, GA.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
