He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Rankin and Mary Dorothy Rankin (Erikkson); and his brother Charles W. Rankin. He is survived by: his wife Susan Malee Rankin; his children, Nick Rankin, Jennifer Laurent, Heather Rankin, Liz Crase and Drew Rankin; and his sister Patricia Fudge.
