He is survived by: his wife Adela Pribeagu; and his children, Cornelia (Daniel Morar), Adriana (Florin Coroama), Corneliu (Naomi Iacob), Mihaela (Severin Ionashku), Cristian (Cristina Iacob), Beniamin (Clara Iacob), Emanuel (Chloe Iacob) and Estera (Laviniu Avram). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
