She was predeceased by: her mother Rita Jurado; and her aunt Maria Teresa Martin. She is survived by: her father Eladio Cadenas; her children, Marco Hodge of Atlanta and Esperanza Jurado of Lawrenceville; and her aunts and uncles, Guadalupe Arboleya, Manuel Jurado, Alvaro Jurado, Flora Ester, Alejandro and Jose Guererro Jurado.

She was an involved member of the community and spearheaded many charity organizations.
