She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawton Rowan and Pearl Rowan. She is survived by: her son Darrell Purvis of Lenox; her grandchildren, Sara Purvis Cornelius (Derek) of Nashville and Mark Purvis (Grant Greeson) of Atlanta; her great grandchild Jake Green of Nashville; and her siblings, Bobby Rowan of Nashville, Nate Rowan of Cincinnati, Marie Hagadorn of Albany, Ovaline Williams of McDonough, Thomas L. Jr., Richard, Rudy, Vernon, Wayne, Myrtle Parker, Evelyn Eason, Odessa Rowan and Linda Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tift Area Hospice.
