He was predeceased by : his parents, Hoyt Griffin and Virginia Chester Griffin Bruce. He is survived by : his wife Patricia A. Griffin (Pat); his children, Ann Haughey of Washington, David Griffin (Jeanette) of Savannah and Tony Griffin (Becky) of Rayle; and his grandchildren, Courtney Brown (Thorne), Katie Carden (Nick), Michael Griffin (Whitney), Ashley Teasley (Drew), Logan Griffin and Faith Griffin. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wills Memorial Hospital Foundation, 120 Gordon St., Washington, Ga. 30673, or to the Wilkes County EMS, 105 Marshall St., Washington, Ga. 30673.
