He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert McIntosh and Mary Bella McIntosh. He is survived by : his wife Lilian Rose Clee; his siblings, Wyness Mitchell of Huntly Scotland and Duncan McIntosh of Aberdeenshire, Scotland; his children, Mary-Ann (Richard Schulze), Phyllis (Walter Bluhm) and Robert McIntosh of Lexington, GA; and his grandchildren, Charlie McIntosh, Katie Bluhm and Michael Bluhm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
