He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Angel Curtis and George Curtis; his wife Peggy Curtis; his sons, Thomas Curtis and Leonard Bedingfield (Chuck); and his grandson Christopher Osebold.
He is survived by: his daughter Diana McCoy (Carl); his daughter-in-law Cathy Curtis; his children, James "Jimmy" Curtis (Kathy), Nancy Eckhardt (Tim), Elaine Hill (Mike) and Lynn Osebold; his daughter-in-law Tina Bedingfield; his daughter Monica Kimbler (James); his pets, Buddy, Peanut, Jamie, Alfie, Simba, Chubbs and Darlie; his former wife Marjorie Stewart; and his son Chuck. He is also survived by six children, 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel (3705 US-78, Snellville, GA 30039). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oxford Historical Cemetery.
