The memory of Jan Howell of Lilburn, Georgia, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Jan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jan leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Howell (Chris Nedza) and Stacey Godwin (Ted Godwin); and her significant other Henry. She is also survived by grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oglethorpe Hill Chapel (4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
