We bid farewell to Dorothy E. Botelho of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, born in Augusta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2024 at the age of 73. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorothy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by : her parents, Peggy Creech Hasselberger (John) and Herbert L. Pugh; and her son Jonathan Michael Botelho. She is survived by : her children, Tammy Botelho Caudell (Cale) and Shawn T. Botelho (Amy); her grandchildren, Lyric Malone Caudell, Jonathan David Botelho and Cody Grubbs (Brooke); and her sister Virginia Skinner.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Rees Funeral Home (195 N Peachtree St, Lincolnton, GA 30817). A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Pine Grove Umc Cemetery.
