We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2020, at the age of 93, Dorothy Scott of Lincolnton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Wellmaker and Lucy Cox Wellmaker; her husband Leonard Scott; and her son Stanley Scott. She is survived by : her children, Alvin Scott (Shearell) of Lincolnton and Dori S. Brown (Tim) of Washington; her grandchildren, Laney S. Phillips (Lewis) of Lincolnton, Jantzen Gianfrancesco (Tamami) of California, Scott Brown (Frankie) of Lincolnton and Brittney B. Dyson (Chris) of Thomson; and also Theresa Walton. She is also survived by 5 great- grandchildren.

Social distancing will be observed and the use of masks is suggested.
