He was predeceased by : his parents, Brantley O. Stevens and Lucy Echols Stevens; his former life partner Linda Owens Stevens; and his siblings, Pete Stevens, Doug Stevens, Billy Stevens, Gerald Stevens, Jimmy Stevens and Betty Stevens Echols.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Holloway Banks Stevens; his children, Philip Stevens (Carla) of Gibson and Gina Stevens Broome (Steve) of Washington Ga; his stepchildren, John Banks (Kathie) of Savannah and Cristy Banks Ware (Dean) of Tignall; his grandchildren, Cole Stevens, Chesnie Stevens, Stephen Broome, Jason Broome, Blake Ware (Maegen), Charlton Ware (Lindsey), Gracen Ware and Thomas Shores; his great grandchildren, Addison, Charli and Jaxson Ware; and his siblings, Bobby Stevens of Washington and Dot Stevens Branham of Washington.
