He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Scott and Minnie Kirby Scott. He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Scott of Greenwood, SC; his children, Johnnie Scott of Greenwood, SC, Joy Bonds (Terry) of Lincolnton, GA and Jan Scott of Greenwood, SC; and his grandchildren, Allen Bonds (Nick Rountree) of Charleston, SC, Jason Bonds of Lincolnton, GA, Gage Drummond of Greenwood, SC and Morgan Kelley of Greenwood, SC. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Benevolent Fund.
