It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanier Augustus Hightower Jr. of Lincolnton, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lanier A. Hightower, Sr. and Joyce Morris Hightower; and his former life partner Rita Hightower. He is survived by : his sister Wanda Ree Hightower; his children, David Hightower (Brandi), Gail Saint and Tonya Hawkins; and his grandchildren, Brian, Monica, Makynna, Chase, Alleya, Jessica, Meghan and Marcus. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, other extended family, and many friends.
