He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Walton and Ruby Norman Walton; and his brother Derwood Walton. He is survived by : his wife Diane Goolsby Walton; his son Dan Walton of Harlem; his daughter-in-law Adrea Walton of Evans; his daughter Dr. LeAnn O'Neill; his son-in-law Garrett O'Neill of Augusta; his sisters, Marie Walton Poss of Lincolnton and Lena Walton Baston of Bremen; his grandson Ethan Walton of Evans; and his mother-in-law L. G. Goolsby of Lincolnton.
