He was predeceased by : his parents, Pierce C. Sullivan and Vader Boyter Sullivan; his children, William Oscar Sullivan, Jr. and Judith Annette Sullivan; and his siblings, James Sullivan, Proctor Boyter, Lib Craigo and Mildred Sullivan.

He is survived by : his sons, Scott Sullivan (Tanya) of Ware Shoals and Chris Sullivan of Lincolnton, GA; his grandchildren, Kristin Sullivan Clamp (Cole), Taylor Marie Sullivan and Joshua Seavey (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Larkin Clamp, Zachary Horne, Logan Horne, Brady Seavey and Brett Seavey.
