He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Tucker Smallwood; his children, Carol Sexton (Richard), David Smallwood (Kim) and Billy Smallwood; his grandchildren, Christopher Sexton (Shelby), Kailan Schmock (Nick) and Justin Smallwood; and his sisters, Mattie Hamlin, Dorthy Willis and Mary Wooten.
