He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Garner and Myrtie Key Garner; and the mother of his children Shirley Wells Garner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wells Garner; his children, Mark Anthony Garner of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Elizabeth Garner Henson and Laura Ann Garner; his grandchildren, Rebecca Hoy, Clifton Garner, Tony and Shanda Brown; and his great grandchildren, Allie Hoy, Brooke Hoy and Ronin Brown. He is also survived by three step children and many grand and great grandchildren.
