He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Arnett and Etta Snyder Arnett; his wife Mary Evelyn Bonds Arnett; and his siblings, Ed Arnett, Henry Arnett, Vernie Snider, Vera Smith, Viola Hudgins and Virginia Clay.
He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Mary Angela, Phil Whiteside of Lithia Springs, Sherry Cofield and David Cofield; his grandchildren, Misty Motion and Jason Cofield; and his great grandchild Ansley Cofield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
