He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady H. Post, Sr. and Maudie Bell Worthan Post; his wife Sadie Mae Post; his son Julian Henry Post; and his brothers, Luther Post and Robert Post.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda (Scott Wood) and Sheila Harrell of Lithia Springs, Georgia; his siblings, Virginia (Charles Nelson), Nadine (Kenneth Bruce), Jimmy Post of Marietta and Raymond Post of Marietta, Georgia; and his close friends, Clyde Hale and Calby Haught. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren.
