He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell McFarland and Alice McFarland; his wife Evelyn Gertrude Stevens; and his brothers, Lee, Guy, Fred, Marvin, Sam, James and Frank McFarland.
He is survived by: his brother Ed McFarland; his children, Tommy McFarland, Wayne McFarland and Barbara McFarland DeLay; and his great grandchildren, Grandchildren, Valerie McFarland, Christie Elliott, Chad DeLay, Amy Houseworth, Cathy Meadows and Patty Wilden.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Union Grove Baptist Church.
