He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hiett and Nonna S Rivers. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hiett (Cheek); his children, Matthew and Michelle; his son-in-law Terry R. Bowen (TJ); his grandsons, Terrance and Tyson Bowen; and his brother Steve Hiett.

Due to COVID concerns, there will be no visitation or memorial service.
