She is survived by: her grandson Hobert Houston "Houston" Sheffield III of Atlanta; her daughter-in-law Regina "Gina" Kennerly Sheffield of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Heather Helton Dubey (Jesse) and Nicholas Helton; her great grandchildren, Brooke of Tampa and Braxton Dubey of Tampa; her brothers, Dr. Harold Nixon (Jo), Joe Nix and Howard Nixon (Sue); and her nieces and nephews, Sally Nixon Carroll (Pat), Amy Nixon Oakes (Corry), Bill Nixon (Courtney), Tracie Nixon Scarborough (Ray), Bryant Nixon (Stacy), Amanda Nixon McLendon (Jason) and Abbie Nixon Griffin (Matt).
