He was predeceased by: his parents, W. M. DeLay, Jr. and Margie Eskew DeLay; and his niece Lisa Brown. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley DeLay of Asheville, NC; his girlfriend Cathy Varian of West Virginia; and his siblings, Rita Dukes (Larry), Rhonda DeLay and Jimmy DeLay (Jean).
