He was predeceased by: his former wife Sarah Cumbie; his mother Hattie Cumbie; his sisters, Barbara Jones and Shirley Scott; his stepbrothers, Richard Griffin and Dan Griffin; and his grandson Casey Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Delorise Cumble; his children, Mike Cumbie (Alisha) of Acworth, Mark Cumbie (Deidri) of Powder Springs, Matt Cumbie (Barbara) and Melissa Cumbie; his stepchildren, Carmon Williams (Darryl) of Bremen and Jimmy O'Neal (Erin) of North Carolina; his stepbrother Jimmy Griffin; and his grandchildren, Heather, Nora, Ashley, Candice, Iris, MezzMyrh and Pinatova. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
