It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Mae Smith of Lithia Springs, Georgia, born in Buchanan, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Damascus Pettitt and Ida Matilda Rowell Pettitt; her husband Rickey D. Smith; and her brother Herman D. Pettitt. She is survived by: her sister Melbatine Moore; and her nephews, Roy Moore (Donna), Paul Moore and Kieth Moore. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
