It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Alice Laney Heath (Lithia Springs, Georgia), born in Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carson Laney and Ethel Mae Parker Laney; her husband Chester Hoyt Heath; and her sister Myrtle Mae Laney. She is survived by: her son Ted Heath of Marietta; her daughter-in-law Beatriz Heath of Marietta; her grandchildren, Gwyneth Heath and Adriana Heath; and also, John William, Joan Lane of North Carolina and Richard Glenn Laney of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
