With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Jean Jeffords of Lithia Springs, Georgia, born in Odum, Georgia, who passed away on March 12, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Danny Smith; her sisters, Pat Hyde and Janice Quattlebaum; and her parents, Harry Eugene Carter and Mildred Withrow Carter.

She is survived by : her daughters, Debbie Griffin (Donnie) of Lithia Springs and Tami Durbin (Joe) of Smyrna; her grandchildren, Allen Farmer of Atlanta, Taylor Durbin of Melbourne, FL and Jeff Griffin (Kelly) of Jacksonville, FL; her great grandchildren, Meredith and Luke Griffin; and her siblings, James Carter (Pat) of Jesup, GA, Gerry Vaughn of Austell and Vivian Lane of Austell.
