With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Stoney Shamblee of Lithia Springs, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest G. Shamblee and Bessie Sealey Shamblee; and his siblings, Forrest Shamblee and Matilda Harris (Tilley). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lee Shamblee of Lithia Springs, Georgia; his sons, William S. Shamblee, Jr. of Dallas and Charles Alan Shamblee of Douglasville, Georgia; his sister Faye Patterson of Powder Springs, Georgia; his grandchildren, William Randall Shamblee of Temple, Heather Lacoste of Tallapoosa and Savannah Nichole Shamblee of Paulding County; and his great grandchild Jason Lacoste. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
