She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Paul Abel Rice; her children, Aretha Franklin Smith (Jerrod) and Paul Abel; her grandchildren, Arianna, AnJuanna, Jean Audrey Davis, Kerry William Davis (Loraine), Denise Marcella Merchant (Frederick) and Dianne Reid; her brothers-in-law, John Douglas Rice, Ellis Karl Rice (DeMadeline) and Jerry Lee Rice; her parents, Olivia Davis and Joseph L. Bull; and her brothers-in-law, Saint Isaac Rice and Thomas Lee Rice. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
