She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Meeks and Gladys Meeks; her husband William "Bill" Smith; her daughter Brenda Barnes; and her sister Georgia Carr.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Kaylee "Danni" Barnes of Lizella; her brother James "Bug" Meeks of Knoxville; and her daughters, Debra Harris (Stewart) of Lizella, Rhonda Watts of Perry and Linda Maddox (Doug) of Macon. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
