It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Delores Kimber of Lizella, Georgia, born in Eastman, Georgia, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lark Sandiford and Lilly Mae Sandiford; her siblings, Emilee McCurry and Horace Sandiford; her former life partner Joshua Cherry, Jr.; her husband Bruce Kimber; her daughter Cherry Maddox; and her grandson Joshua Cherry.

She is survived by : her daughter Paula Lindsley (Larry) of Rockford, Michigan; her grandchildren, Tracy Lindsley of Muskegon, MI, Kelly Lindsley of Rockford, MI, Chris Adams (Donna) of Crawfordville, GA and Phillip Maddox (Cassey) of Lizella, GA; her son-in-law Alan Maddox of Bainbridge, Georgia; and her sister Sylvia Elliott of Carrollton, GA. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
