She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Brooks and Violet Ray Brooks; and her sister Robbie Woodard. She is survived by: her husband Richard Elrod; her sisters, Marjorie Sapp (Jimmy Blanton) and Renee Carver (Lawrence); and her friend Edie Young. She is also survived by Several nieces and a nephew.
