He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Hobson Sprinkle and Cora Clara Carter Sprinkle; and his daughter Donna Morris. He is survived by: his wife Anne McBryant Sprinkle; his children, Phil Sprinkle, Judy McStay and Peggi Dixon; and his stepchildren, Bobby Meacham (Cindy) and Michelle Mullis (Keith). He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
