She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Lee Toole, Jr. and Nancy Almeda Carter Toole; and her husband Joseph Malbern Newman. She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Anna Jernigan (Michael) and Cherri Hulsey (Guy); her sister Alice Nelson; her grandchildren, DaKota Jernigan (Jenne), Heather Creamer (Josh) and Hillary Winn (Richard); and her great grandchildren, Hagen, William, Waylon, MaSon, JaxSon, GraySon, Drake, Garrett and Colton. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
