He was predeceased by : his parents, Gentie Clyde Berryhill, Sr. and Patsy Bollinger Berryhill; his siblings, John "Skeebo" Berryhill, Henry Fred Berryhill, Sr., Wendell Berryhill and Rosa Williams Stancil; and his brother-in-law Donald Sanders.

He is survived by : his wife Ann Sanders Berryhill; his brother Clyde "Sonny" Berryhill, Jr. of Cochran; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Betts of Warner Robins and Bobby Ray Sanders (Susie) of Cochran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
