She was predeceased by : her husband David Lee Cottrill; her parents, Harry Warren and Geneva Ruth Presson Haynes; her sisters, Sharon Stubbs and Brenda Haynes; and her son-in-law Tim Rogula.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Scott McAlister of Locust Grove and Teresa Buckley of Senoia; her stepson Jeff Cottrill of Ohio; and her sisters, Robin Jennings of Helena, AL and Susan Beth Greenley of Dunwoody. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorials be made to a local humane society.
