Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Ann Birdsley in Locust Grove, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 9, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beryl Lucretia Birdsley (Pilmore) and Earl Edward Birdsley; and her sisters, Jean Vitous, Gayla Walters (Don) and June Young (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Meyers of Alexandria, Virginia, Larry Leonard (Joanne) of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Lyle Leonard (Tanya) of Locust Grove, Georgia and Loren Leonard of Forest Park, Georgia; her son-in-law Eric Meyers of Palm City, Florida.; her grandchildren, Xander Leonard, Zelda Leonard, Sarah Leonard, Hannah Cornell (Cody), Brady Leonard, Alyssa Meyers and Christine Hofer-Leonard (Shawn); and her great grandchildren, Stetson, Theodore, Bennett and Otto.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (104 E Cass St, St Johns, MI 48879). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at the Mt. Rest Cemetery (706 E Steel St, St Johns, MI 48879).
