He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Patterson, Ricky Patterson and William Patterson; and his siblings, Melvin Patterson, Geraldine Lewis and Linda Johnson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
