He was predeceased by: his wife Janis Thornton Foster; his parents, Charles Foster and Frances Foster (Haynie); and his brother Gerald Foster (Carolyn). He is survived by: his children, Chris Foster (Sarah) of Atlanta, GA and Nicole Barrett (Brad) of Snellville, GA; his grandchildren, Davis Foster, Addison Barrett and Landon Barrett; his sisters, Melissa Carter (Cary) of Jefferson, GA and Melinda Fleeman (Terry) of Brunswick, GA; his aunt Joan Crowe of Kathleen, GA; and his brother-in-law Everett Thornton of Winder, GA. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church (2400 Main St E #3361, Snellville, GA 30078).
