He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Norman Moe and Mary Sams Moe Oyler; his brother Tom Moe; and his daughter-in-law Vickie Maddox Moe. He is survived by: his wife Joy Ann Wright Moe; his children, Cinde Moe Moss (Gene), Scott Moe (Janet) and Ryan Moe (Carla Kilgore); his grandchildren, Makenzie Barnes (Tim), Jordan Reeves (Richard), Zack Moe (Rachel), Amelia Moe, Kiley Moe, Sophia Moe, Macy Moe, Claire Kilgore, Carson Kilgore, Camden Kilgore, Hannah DeLoach and Bray DeLoach; his great grandchildren, Channing Barnes and Baby Moe; and his sister Nancy Moe Young. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, and cousins.
